"Recruiting Assistant" Personal Web Page
Video Editing and Embedding
At Midwest Collegiate Scouting, we personalize the process for the unique needs of our student-athletes. Each sport has unique aspects that impact the process. Scholarship types (Equivalency vs. Head Count), positional needs, team roster size, etc. Each college and university is unique as well. At the end of the process the student-athlete needs to find the right academic setting, on the right campus, with the right amount of playing time and (hopefully) the right price!
Since 2005 we have provided the services below including:
Midwest Collegiate Scouting will build, and maintain, a personal student-athlete web page. Built into the web page is the ability to house documentation (Transcripts, ACT results, Letters of Recommendatio, news articles, etc.), a photo gallery, a calendar and video (highlight and full game). Additionally the web page comes with a complete college coach database unique to the sport of the student-athlete. This allows the student-athlete direct access to the college coach.
The web page can be updated as needed without limitation. Distribution of information to the college coach can also be done on an unlimted basis. MCS will work with the student-athlete and the family to maintain the web page and the database without limitation. Additionally, each web page comes with a complete family resource center. The center provides additional information regarding the recruiting process, the Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse, ACT/SAT prep and more.
Midwest Collegiate Scouting will take full game footage from the student-athlete and the family to create a full season highlight film. That film will be housed on our server and will also be embedded into the "Recruiting Assistant" web page. The web page can hold up to 8 embedded videos. There is no limit to the distribution of the video link through the "Recruiting Assistant" web page. Examples of highlight videos are shown below the information request box.

Education and Guidance
Midwest Collegiate Scouting works with the student-athlete and the family to provide timely and needed information about the college athletic recruiting process. We provide guidance related to the NCAA and NAIA recruiting guidelines. Information and advice about contact periods, dead periods, quiet and evaluation periods. Education related to college athletic camps, third party combines and traveling athletics. All student-athletes are marketed in accordance with NCAA and NAIA rules and guidelines.
